The National ID Project of the Philippines

There has been a lot of discussion about this national ID project of the government. I am just wondering what are your views regarding this. Are you in favor for this to happen? Or what are your issues and concerns about the so called project proposal? This has been approved on the 2nd reading in the house of the representative.

According to House Bill 6221, three sets of information shall be maintained under the Filipino Identification System or FilSys: on the card, in a smart chip embedded in the card, and in an electronic database kept and administered by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
