According to some of my friends who works there,

In general, subsidies for PRs in Singapore are not as impressive compared to other developed countries specially in Europe.

From the top of my head....

Advantages:
subsidies for education, medical services.
better chances of entering local non-international school for your children.
higher priority than non-PRs, non-Singaporeans when finding work. (specially management level)
Can buy government housing projects (HDBs) from secondary market

In-Between:
Male children required to go to NS when they reach 16
Mandatory CPF contribution (forced savings)
