Php 5 error reporting
« on: August 27, 2008, 01:49:30 AM »
Can someone help with this error?

I encountered this error on a page and tested it in php 4 with error reporting on and got the error message. then, I  switched to php 5 and got a blank screen. I have tried various ways of turning on error reporting and can\'t get anything other than a blank screen.

I have tried:
error_reporting = E_ALL | E_STRICT;

----------------
ini_set ("error_reporting",E_ALL ^E_STRICT);

error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT);
-----------------
error_reporting(E_ALL);
--------------------

error_reporting(1);
----------------------

So far, just blank screen.

Any ideas?
