« on: October 19, 2008, 04:16:20 PM »
I got one question ... pls see this code.

Code: [Select]
SQL> DECLARE STR1 CHAR(20);
2 BEGIN
3 STR1 := \'B,C,H,P,\';
4 STR1 := TRIM(TRAILING \',\' FROM STR1);
5 DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(STR1);
6 END;
7 /
B,C,H,P,

APPARENTLY \',\' ITS NOT REMOVED.;WHY?

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
