Lotus Notes Programming Beginner's Guide

Hi everyone !


Im GodisGracious and Im a new member here in this forum.
Im very glad that I find a forum that can really helped me in developing my knowledge and skills in Lotus Notes programming.


I just got hired as a Lotus Notes Programmer, but according to the company I was hired, trainings are not included, so all I will do is have a lot of self studies and Im a really in need of help to experienced lotus Notes programmers out there:)

Meron po, during my college days Ive programmed using VB 6, basic of VB.Net but mas more on nagdwell ako sa web development using PHP/AJAX and Javascript kasi yun yung ginamit ko sa aking thesis.


nagsesearch po ako ng documentations for tutorials para sa mga beginners like me, meron naman akong nakikita kaso mga may bayad po. May alam po ba kaung mga for free tutorials?

hmmm.... mostly inaral ko lang din ang Lotus Notes Domino... kasi mabait yung kasama ko pinahiram lang din yung book nya...di rin ako pinag training ...aral aral lang din tska malaking tulong yung NOTES HELP...sobra... gamit din namin d2 sa office e lotus notes domino. Tapos minsan tanong tanong lang din sa mga kaofficemates ko tsaka sa forums gaya d2.... ayun may natutunan naman ako...

buti dumadami na tayo d2 hehehe...


Minsan tumitingin sa Youtube ng mga videos...marami don... minsan ishare ko rin d2 sa forum...

dibale pag may nadiscover ako share ko sayo.. share share tayo d2...

Thanks din sa advice, chek ko nga din sa youtube meron pala dun. Kasi Ive been looking sa mga torrent sites kaso wala ng seeders mostly sa mga books ng lotus notes eh.


First day ko na tomorrow. Very excited to learn new PL.

hindi ka naman fresh grad diba? hehehe....
yayain mo iba mong friends d2 kahit mga ibang programmers... para naman magkaroon ng community for pinoy programmers d2.. hehehe

actually marami din namang programmers na members d2 e... mga tahimik lang at hindi nagpopost..nahihiya siguro hahaha..

sa Lotus Notes Programming naman kasi, pag marunong ka ng visual basic e madali ng pag aralan ang logic... copy and paste lang sa help... ;D

this may lang ako grumaduate kaya ito yung parang pinaka una kong work na related sa IT kasi Ive worked before kaso isang buwan at layo din naman sa field ko kaya ayun parang fresh tlga.

Yup no experience ako sa Lotus Notes. Depende siguro sa company, kasi saken kinonsider nila ako kasi may alam ako sa VB 6 kasi yung Lotus and VB may pgkasimilarities.

Yup i already installed LN sa pc ko, and I was blessed naman kasi the company provided me training materials for my self-study program ehehe. Medyo di ko pa tlga kasi maybe it will take some time pero hope na asap magets ko na. Medyo , I mean Meron tlgng pinagkaiba ang VB at LN..


Matatapos na ko sa fundamentals hopefully makapgdwell na ko sa scriptings.

Ayun medyo mahirap pa rin pero thank God at kahit papano naiintindihan naman :) By August na forst project ko, excited na kabado , wahaha. tatlo lng kasi kame , tpos ako pa newbie. Ayoko naman maging pabigat sa mga kgroup ko ahaha kaya  tlagang aral ako.
