Pag ba sinabing  "write once run everywhere", Ano ibig sabihin neto?

Ibig sabihin neto, pag nag code ka sa java at kinompile mo sya using one particular machine, pwede mo sya i run everywhere provided that machine has also the java-run time environment ... di mo na kelangan gumawa pa ng program para mag run sa ibang machine. This concept is behind the JRE concept kaya run everywhere sya.
