Better opportunties, definitely.

By definition, better opportunities means there are numerous possibilities for advancement and/or better fringe benefits of the job. Hence, such a job should also mean better pay/compensation (e.g. commissions, incentives, etc.) in the long run.

Dun ka sa good opportunities syempre:

Bakit ? Tingnan mo nalang ito....

Call Center: Good Salary: Poor Opportunities.
PNP: Poor Salary; Good Opportunities
AFP: Poor Salary: Good Opportunities only if you are a General.
Customs: Not so good Salary: Very good opportunites.
Priest: No Salary; plenty of opportunities.

Kung maganda talaga yung salary as in mataas then Strike While The Iron Is Hot!

Pag nagtiis ka duon sa mababang salary with loads of benefits that you cannot take advantage of naman, eh matagal tagal na ipunan yan.

I think there are lots of variables involved.. which need to ponder ...like..

magkano salary?
ano yung opportunites?
edad mo? years of experience?
anong work mo?
may sister ka bang single pre?
single? married?

di ba transferring from another company with more than double the salary is already an opportunity?

Then pag nandoon ka na saka ka mag-apply to another multi-national company... may dagdag ka nang credential sa resume mo.
Another opportunity pa to increase again your salary.

Tell me i'm wrong :)

sana it's good if you have both dba? like the right salary and opportunity for advancement. if your company is very professional, you will have both. career advancement means additional salary. look for a company that where you think you have a good career path. talk to your present company and tell them about your new offer, maybe if they think you are needed in their organization, they will offer you a new deal. also talk to the other company and tell them what you want in terms of your career in the company and what career path they have for you. it's a wise thing to talk to both companies.

my 1 cent worth of advice...

Good salary while waiting for that opportunity. You DON'T always have to suffer in order to attain career growth, get the best of both worlds.

the question is a variant of the MARSHMALLOW TEST.

given that one cannot have both, we can see that one choice is about the present while the other is about the future.

if we would rephrase the question, it could turn out to be:

"Good salary now, or better salary later?"

you choose, alin ang mas maganda.. nasa saiyo yan..

when you're old and with a family to feed: SALARY. syempre you already have the experience to prove your worth diba?

we also have to realize that salary and opportunity are not the opposite sides. both comes hand in hand. if you have a high salary, it meant that you have accepted a good opportunity. if you have good opportunities, it could also mean higher salaries now or in the near future.

buhayin ulit natin etong thread.....  ;D ;D i think depende sa opportunity..
