Introduction to J2EE

This course provides students with the knowledge to build and deploy enterprise applications that comply with Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform standards. The enterprise components presented in this course include Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) technology, servlets, and JavaServer Pages (JSP) technology, and the Java technology clients that use them.

Java Web Development (JSP and Servlets)

This course covers JSP-based web applications, beginning from basic dynamically generated websites to websites with database components. This course also covers Java Servlet extensions using the Tomcat server environment.

Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)

This course covers topics on building business components that can be deployed on powerful application servers. Enterprise Java Beans is a component architecture for the development and deployment of object-oriented, distributed, enterprise-level applications. Applications written using the Enterprise JavaBeans architecture are scalable, transactional, multi-user and secure.
