Change color in 8.0.2 for unread mesages
« on: August 27, 2008, 06:02:10 AM »
ver 802 has now been released. And so far as i see it, Client seems improved and now loads faster, but has anyone found the notes.css file, used to change color for unread messages? Can anyone here direct me where to find this file? I even cant see in folder: Lotusnotesframeworksharedeclipsepluginscom.ibm.notes.branding. Can not find they have moved this setting to preference either.

Thanks in advance.

Why not try search facility?  Its in a subfolder under framework or probably in one of the folders listed in notes folder.

The setting you\'re looking for is close to the top. Below is the default. I just changed mine to red. It really should be a user preference setting I think. Remember to make a backup copy.

/* this sets the style for messages that have been marked as "unread" */
mailtable>row>unread {
color: black;
font-family: Tahoma, Times, Helvetica;
font-size: x-small;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: bold;
}

Oh yeah, just found it under notes.css is in: "com.ibm.notes.branding_8.0.2.20080809-0430.jar". The file is included in this jar file.

Thanks RPMole.
