Pinoy Web Hosting?
« on: April 01, 2010, 03:59:39 PM »
hello guys!

i would just like to know, alin ba sa mga filipino web hosting companies ang pinaka-ok? im planning to put up a site and hindi ako makapili sa dami nila. nairegister ko na ang domain ko. (.ph domain siya) kailangan ko na lang ng web hosting service na magla-launch ng site ko. hindi naman talaga ako adept when it comes to these technical stuff so baka meron diyan na may mga web site na pwede magbigay ng advice sa akin.

meron ba dapat akong mga concerns na dapat tingnan before choosing the right web hosting company for me?

(medjo malaki ang content na ilalagay ko. mga 300 to 500MB disk space)

thanks!

Eto rin ang webhost ko ngayon. Mga mag-3 years na siguro ako sa kanila.

I've been with www.mobilehive.com and I'd recommend them too. They were the ones who taught me everything about webhosting.
I also tried www.speedyway.net for windows server hosting before.

I have my site hosted by nomadph. I'm thinking of transferring to another webhost... after reading your coments, i'm torn between local and international webhost.

Mukhang mas ok nga international. But how does it works? I mean I'm not really good at it, i need tech support every now and then. Do you know any international webhost that has good tech support (probably chat / fast email response?). kinda afraid if it's international unlike local you can call / text your delear... but still.... argh! i'm not sure! help please! ^^

im paying 1188/yr for my 50MB and 600/yr for a .com domain.
what i hate is that it seems no one is using the same webhost as what i'm using so walang forums where you can ask around people.

has anyone tried www.web.com.ph, may nabasa akong review dati na 2nd to sa pinakamaraming hosted sites. nkapag inquire na ko sa kanila via online chat, ok naman. I just want to know kung reseller lang ** ba sila although they also offer reseller hosting, if so, a reseller offering reseller hosting. They are based in Makati city.

For free web hosting, try www.000Webhost.com

I think if you don't have credit cards (read: students), you might as well go for local webhosting options. you can pay the hosting plans on banks.

you can try philwebservices.com.

they are a local host but they have back up outside. so in case for brownouts here in the phil, your website is still up and running. they also offer unlimited webmail and mySQL, and PHP support. my choice ka pa between Windows and Linux servers. not only that, they also offer domain name registration.

what else can you look for? their tech support reps are also friendly and make sure that if you have an issue, it will be resolved right away.
