Write Error in temporary Space resolution
« on: August 28, 2008, 05:26:03 AM »
Hi guys,

Just want to share this error i got this morning. I was trying to run the report using the FM Model in the Test Server when this error appeared.

What i did was i immediately reported this error to our Cognos Admin, and as a result he freed up some resources/space in the cognos server. And then he advised me to resume my testing. I proceeded to my local testing, but error still existed. I reported the same error again. He advised me to free up some spaces in local temp directory i.e.(cognos installation path/temp) folder. I did what he said but still the error appeared. Now that\'s strange, i was expecting this should now work considering the space i already available but alas, it didnt. So the next thing i did was i ran the report but this time i modified the Options field: The restrictive maximum no. of rows to be returned (thats the window on the 5th Tab- Query Subject Definition in FM Manager). Gee, it works! Now i just wouldn\'t know if this would work when i published the package.
