Title: Question on Query Studio Error You do not have permission to access this report.
Post by: rpmolecule on November 20, 2014, 10:10:29 AM
Guys, question.. Have you encountered this error using Cognos Query 10.2.1 ? This happened when my user tried editing one of her adhoc reports on query studio located on her private folder. I can't see it myself because it's in her private folder. But she sent me an error message with this caption:

Quote
"You do not have permission to access this report. Please contact your system administrator."

Any idea what is this? or how do we resolve this?

my only solution is to have them re-link the report to the package in the report properties...

It's at the bottom page of the report properties like this.

This can only be done if you have access to the administration panel. but if you're not able to see that option then that mean's you cannot do this.
