Guidelines on How to Connect your Bank Account to PayPal
« on: August 11, 2010, 07:09:43 AM »
Paypal, the world’s most loved way to pay and get paid can now be linked to your bank account. This means that aside from your EON and other debit and credit cards, you can now use your bank account to fund your Paypal account.  This short article will show you the steps on how to link your Paypal to your bank account online.

Step 1. Log into your PayPal account. Click on the "my account" tab. It is the first tab located on the left hand side of the web page.

Step 2. Select Profile.

Step 3. Select Bank Accounts Accounts and click Add.

Step 4. Enter your bank information and click Continue. To verify your account, Paypal will make two small deposits into your bank account. Once you’ve successfully added your bank account, you can now withdraw or transfer funds from your Paypal account.

However, if your PayPal account is not yet Verified, there will be a maximum amount that you can transfer per month from your Paypal account to your bank account. Verification is done to make sure that you own the bank account you elected.

Step 5. To confirm your bank account, check your bank statements after 1 to 3 days for the Paypal deposits (you can also call our Customer Service at 8418600 or go at any UnionBank Branch to ask for the 4 digit Expanded Use Number). Return to the verification page by clicking the “Confirm Bank Account” link on your Account Summary page and enter the exact deposit amounts.
Once you have confirmed your bank account, your Sending and Withdrawal limits will be removed. This means that you can now send and withdraw as much money as you like using your Paypal account.

So this gives you another opportunity to make your online shopping with Paypal fast, safe and easy. With PayPal, you don’t have to worry about exposing your bank account because PayPal make sure that all your personal account information are not to be disclosed to any one.
