aesthetics play a major role when going through web designing... and fonts are pretty much have a great effect on it. 

But there seems to be a lot of fonts coming out these days...

Check out Calibri ... i think it is what being used in Microsoft site, if am not mistaken...</description>

		<description>I find any proportional Lucida Sans and Frutiger the prettiest among the typefaces.  These are the modern-looking typefaces.

However, in the absence of Frutiger, Segoe UI is used.  These 2 fonts rather have a Helvetica-Arial relationship.
