I was trying to finish a pending work item on my job list when suddenly i was interrupted by a co-officemate asking my assistance to resolve his error encountered in Cognos 8.3 ( a Business Intelligence Tool). He was trying to resolve a conflict on his machine, a brand new HP Compaq PC with Core 2 Duo Processor where he has just installed Cognos 8.3 Framework manager (FM). Hmm, i thought, what could have resulted this error?You see when i did my initial installation in this PC (w/c am currently using), i didn’t encounter such specific error.
