Removing _TextLink Text in your WP 2.5 Blog

Submitted by on Friday, 25 July 2008No Comment

As my initiative to test every page of my blog (relating to the previous post i made regarding the on line: 124 “error” or a blank page error) which might be caused by one of the plugins installed, i happen to notice this strange-looking appended text just below the comment section. What a lucky day, i thought! Haha. =). So ok, bearing with it, i tried to investigate who among the WordPress 2.5 plugins on my list is appending this _TextLink Text on my blog. I know it must be one of the plugins because for one when i tried to deactivate all of the plugins, this text didn’t appear.

Not too long, i was able to determine the culprit: the No Follow plugin!

NoFollow Free 1.5.5 Remove the nofollow tag from your blog’s comments with a lot of options customizable, per user type removal, per comments count removal etc… Supports multilingual and a Top Commenters sidebar Widget. By Michele Marcucci.

If you want this to be removed, just simply disable the No Follow plugin (for the meantime) until update is there which is available for download.  Hope this tip helped those who are having this _textLink text appended on their WP Blog or if you can bear with this _textlink text then just let it go. It won’t do any harm on you anyway =)
