One of my former officemates who works now at Net Square Building in Taguig City has just informed me about Yahoo Philippines Office being set up at the Net Cube Center Building, at The Fort in Taguig City (see image below). Indeed, this would definitely open up new doors and more for business and jobs to the local scene.

I dont know if this news is a bit late but I also heard that Yahoo Philippines is looking for Partner Account Manager, Communications Specialist and Search Editor & Analyst. So probably those who are interested, you can contact Yahoo Philippines to verify or if these positions have already been filled up. My informant say their office would soon be completed before the year ends. How cool is that! Yahoo’s senior director for business development for SouthEast Asia, Joselito “Jojo” Añonuevo has also been said to be in the country actively speaking and collaborating to local and international partners. According to my resources too that, prior to joining Yahoo, Añonuevo was the President of game publisher Mobius -- Digital Media Exchange (DME) until June of last year . And prior to dme, Añonuevo also worked for Oracle Philippines, becoming its marketing and sales director. So this would definitely be a big booster to Yahoo’s expansion in the region to provide the best quality services and leadership with new and existing content providers, advertisers, publishers and resellers in the region.
